Intensive dietary support significantly boosts weight loss and BMI reduction in an Asian population undergoing bariatric surgery, as demonstrated by a retrospective study. The group receiving intensive dietary support had notably superior outcomes at 6 and 12 months compared to those following standard care, without a significant difference in postoperative complications.
