The study aimed to assess the relationship between DNA mismatch repair (MMR) proteins and prognostic parameters in pancreatic adenocarcinoma. No errors were found in MMR proteins, indicating microsatellite stability. Significant correlations were observed between patient age, tumor diameter, surgical margins, vascular invasion, and survival. Although microsatellite instability was not detected, the study suggests the importance of determining microsatellite status for predicting chemotherapy response and choosing immunotherapy options in pancreatic adenocarcinoma.
