Surgical repair of rectal prolapse significantly improved patients’ quality of life, with notable enhancements in fecal incontinence severity, pain interference, depressive symptoms, and overall gastrointestinal function. Forty-six participants reported positive changes in health status, pain levels, and mental well-being post-surgery, indicating meaningful improvements in symptom management and daily functioning.
