Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma patients exhibit varied responses to therapy, with molecular subtyping revealing classical and basal-like subtypes, the latter associated with poorer outcomes. Two main tumor subtypes were identified, along with high-risk stromal subtypes linked to worse survival. Superior survival was seen with classical subtype. Despite challenges in cost and data volume, molecular subtyping can aid in identifying high-risk tumor biology and poor survival outcomes.
