Successful Surgical Management of Sigmoid Gallstone Ileus Resulting in Patient Discharge

Despite deferring colonoscopy due to gallstone size, urgent laparotomy for gallstone removal resulted in uneventful post-operative recovery and discharge on the 6th day.
