Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) protocol implementation for cytoreductive surgery with hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy (CRS-HIPEC) led to increased epidural use, decreased oral and intravenous opioid requirements, and earlier restoration of bowel function. Patients with epidurals had significantly lower opioid needs post-ERAS, with improved ambulation, diet initiation, and return of bowel function compared to pre-ERAS patients. ERAS may offer effective pain management and enhanced recovery for CRS-HIPEC patients.
