Robotic Liver Surgery Achieves Higher Textbook Outcome Rates Than Laparoscopic Surgery

Robotic liver surgery (RLS) showed higher rates of textbook outcome in liver surgery (TOLS) and TOLS+ compared to laparoscopic liver surgery (LLS), with lower blood loss, transfusions, morbidity, and higher R0 resection margins, despite longer operative times. In subgroup analyses, RLS tended to have higher TOLS rates for minor and major resections.
