The technique involved early dissection of the superior mesenteric artery (SMA) from the posterior aspect, facilitating a more systematic mesopancreatic dissection. The approach, demonstrated in a video, included a standardized SMA-first technique and triangle clearance, showing promising results that warrant further evaluation in prospective studies.
