Improved Survival with Sequential Multimodal Therapy for Soft Tissue Sarcoma

Patients with advanced soft tissue sarcoma who receive sequential multimodal treatments with chemotherapy and surgery have better overall survival compared to those who only receive chemotherapy. Surgery appears to be more beneficial for patients who undergo chemotherapy first. These findings support the use of a treatment strategy that includes both surgery and chemotherapy in patients with advanced soft tissue sarcoma.
