Medium-Term Outcomes of One Anastomosis Gastric Bypass in Australia

This case series of 1000 patients undergoing one anastomosis gastric bypass in Australia showed a mean total weight loss of 33.6% with 74% achieving type 2 diabetes remission at 1-year post-op. Complication rates, including bile reflux and marginal ulceration, were low, with no cases of internal herniation reported. Results support the efficacy and safety of this procedure in the short-medium term.
