Neoadjuvant chemotherapy demonstrates better long-term survival outcomes compared to neoadjuvant chemoradiotherapy. Additionally, neoadjuvant chemoradiotherapy is associated with higher 30-day mortality and unclear postoperative complications, potentially compromising patients’ quality of life.
