Early-onset pancreatic cancer (EOPC) is increasing globally, particularly in Asia, with high burden in central and eastern Europe. From 1990 to 2019, EOPC saw a rise in incidence, mortality, and disability-adjusted life-years (DALYs). Risk factors include smoking, high BMI, and high glucose levels. Prevention strategies targeted at high-risk populations are essential to curb this growing health threat.
