Researchers explored the role of spindle and kinetochore-associated complex subunit 3 (SKA3) in cancer. SKA3, a key component in chromosomal segregation and cell division, has been identified as having oncogenic properties contributing to tumor development. This review integrates bibliometric analysis, pan-cancer studies, and narrative summary to assess SKA3’s role in cancer. The authors also identify the top 10 predicted drugs that target SKA3. This work suggests that targeting SKA3 could provide new therapeutic opportunities for precision surgery in cancer treatment.
