Improved systemic therapy has increased long-term survival rates after resection of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma. Sex, BMI, tumor markers, and pathological characteristics influence long-term survival. No single factor can predict survival, highlighting the complex interplay between risk, biology, and patient management. A systematic review analyzing 25 studies with 27,091 patients identifies key predictors for long-term survival post-resection.
