Body contouring surgery after bariatric surgery leads to sustained improvements in health-related quality of life and satisfaction with appearance over a significant period. Patients who underwent body contouring surgery maintained or even improved their scores, contrasting with those who only had bariatric surgery. This highlights the significant role of body contouring surgery in enhancing the overall weight loss journey, based on a comprehensive international longitudinal cohort study.
