Implementing a quantitative appraisal method in primary hospital operating rooms revealed a substantial increase in annual surgical cases and improved patient and surgeon satisfaction. The collaborative scheduling system significantly decreased nurses’ average daily working hours while enhancing overall work efficiency and satisfaction levels. This study demonstrates the potential for comprehensive collaborative scheduling to enhance nursing human resource management in operating rooms, emphasizing the importance of continuous refinement for optimal outcomes.
