Robotic liver resection (RLR) showcases longer operative times than laparoscopic liver resection (LLR) for hepatocellular carcinoma with no major disparities in other short-term outcomes. While overall survival remains alike, RLR promotes enhanced recurrence-free survival and a more proficient learning curve after the 11th case. RLR proves effective and safe, reducing recurrence rates significantly compared to LLR, highlighting its oncological advantages for resectable HCC.
