Novel HARO-ALPPS procedure significantly restricts hepatic artery blood supply post-surgery, enhancing liver regeneration in HCC patients with severe fibrosis. Results show superior outcomes in terms of mortality and liver function compared to conventional ALPPS procedure. Further studies required to confirm oncologic benefits of HARO-ALPPS in long-term follow-up.
