Bowel Perfusion in Emergency Setting: Fluorescence Imaging Meta-Analysis

Fluorescence imaging with indocyanine green in emergency settings showed promising results for assessing bowel perfusion, with statistically significant findings supporting its feasibility and safety. The meta-analysis, including six studies, demonstrated comparable outcomes to traditional assessment methods. Further high-quality studies are warranted to validate the utility of this methodology in emergency settings.
