Robotic splenic flexure mobilization during left-sided colon and rectal resections can be challenging, often requiring tedious re-docking and patient repositioning. Researchers introduce a single docking crossed-arm technique to facilitate splenic flexure takedown, eliminating arm collision and improving intraoperative flow. This technique significantly reduces operative time and enhances the mobility of instruments, allowing for tension-free anastomosis without the need for repositioning.
