Study finds higher relative dose intensity (RDI) of adjuvant S-1 chemotherapy and greater psoas muscle mass volume (PMV) linked to significantly improved 5-year overall and relapse-free survival rates in patients with resected pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma. RDI emerges as an independent prognostic factor, with patients displaying high RDI and high PMV showing the best outcomes. Combining RDI and PMV enhances prognostic accuracy for pancreatic cancer survival.
