Adherence to surgical quality metrics in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma resections significantly correlates with improved overall survival. A study of 38,228 patients revealed that higher quality metric scores led to better outcomes, with mortality hazards decreasing in a stepwise manner. These findings emphasize the importance of quality metric compliance in enhancing long-term survival for patients undergoing surgical resection for pancreatic cancer.
