Endoscopic ultrasound-guided gallbladder drainage (EUS-GBD) shows high technical and clinical success rates (96.55% and 82.75%, respectively) with low adverse events (27.59%) in acute cholecystitis and malignant distal biliary obstruction. This multicenter study in India highlights the safety and effectiveness of EUS-GBD, offering a minimally invasive alternative for high-risk patients and serving as a rescue biliary drainage.
