ERAS program in laparoscopic distal gastrectomy significantly reduced postoperative recovery time, hospital stays, and costs compared to traditional care. Patients in the ERAS group also had lower postoperative complication rates. Combining ERAS with laparoscopy was safe and effective for managing distal gastric cancer perioperatively. These findings suggest the potential benefits of implementing ERAS protocols in laparoscopic distal gastrectomy procedures.
