Cold Snare Resection Reduces Adverse Events but Increases Residual Adenomas

Cold resection of large nonpedunculated colorectal polyps showed significantly lower major adverse events compared to hot resection, with lower rates of perforation and post-endoscopic bleeding. However, cold resection led to a higher residual adenoma rate. Individualized approaches based on polyp size and histology require further investigation to optimize patient outcomes.
