A novel protocol for germline genetic testing (GGT) in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) demonstrated a high patient compliance rate of 98.7%, with 310 patients tested over three years. The physician compliance rate was 82.6%, and 14.2% of patients had actionable pathogenic variants. The protocol effectively allocated genetic counseling resources to benefit those most in need, while ensuring comprehensive follow-up for patients with pathogenic variants. The initiative addresses gaps in traditional genetic counseling resources.
