An innovative diagnostic system combining color change patterns with vessel classification significantly improved early gastric cancer (EGC) detection. The pink microsurface microvascular (PSV) system outperformed the traditional vessel plus surface (VS) system, achieving 93% accuracy compared to 84.6% for VS. Additionally, the PSV system’s specificity reached 93.4%, surpassing the VS system’s 83.6%. While sensitivity remained similar, the PSV system identified more suspicious lesions, marking a substantial advancement in EGC diagnosis.
