A new predictive model for post-endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) pancreatitis has been developed, highlighting procedural factors such as total procedure time, unintended pancreatic duct cannulation, and pancreatic opacification as significant risks. Among 1,112 patients, the model stratified participants into low, intermediate, and high-risk groups, revealing pancreatitis incidences of 2.6%, 7.1%, and 12.6%, respectively. This revised approach aims to enhance real-world applicability in predicting post-ERCP pancreatitis.
