A novel nomogram has been developed for predicting overall survival (OS) in rectal cancer patients, integrating demographic and clinicopathological data. A prospective cohort study identified significant independent prognostic factors, including Karnofsky Performance Status and TNM stage. The model exhibited a c-index of 0.80 and high predictive accuracy for 1-, 3-, and 5-year OS, outperforming traditional TNM staging. This tool offers healthcare professionals a reliable method to estimate survival outcomes for rectal cancer patients.
