CPLX2 and SNAP25 have been identified as significant players in the progression of colorectal cancer liver metastasis. Researchers discovered that these genes are overexpressed in metastatic tissues compared to primary tumors. They also noted that these genes positively regulate the phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase-AKT signaling pathway. Through comprehensive analyses of gene expression and immune infiltration, 1,215 differentially expressed genes were identified, highlighting the potential of CPLX2 and SNAP25 as important molecular targets for treatment strategies in colorectal cancer.
