A novel grading management model for laparoscopic cholecystectomy significantly lowers the conversion to open surgery and complications. The study, conducted with two Shanghai hospitals, identified key risk factors and developed a reliable scoring system with a notable area under the curve of 0.893. Scores above 3 indicate higher surgical risk, allowing clinicians to implement tailored management strategies effectively. This innovative approach combines surgeon experience with a structured method, enhancing patient outcomes in gallbladder surgery.
