Post-polypectomy colorectal cancer risk prediction was more accurate with a model including patient age, diabetes diagnosis, and baseline colonoscopy indication and polyp findings compared to a polyp-only model. The comprehensive model demonstrated superior performance in predicting colorectal cancer diagnosis in both the development and validation cohorts, with an area under the curve of 0.71 and 0.70, respectively.
