Median Arcuate Ligament Release Restores Normal Arterial Flow in Pancreatectomy Patients with Celiac Artery Compression

Median arcuate ligament release during pancreatectomy for celiac artery compression restores normal arterial flow, reducing the extent of compression and preventing complications. Preoperative computed tomography accurately identifies compression levels, with postoperative imaging showing a reduction in all patients, mainly with type b compression. Complications were low, primarily readmissions, and no liver dysfunction was reported.
