Researchers adapted a surgical journal club curriculum to an asynchronous, virtual format during the pandemic, allowing for expanded participation and active learning opportunities. Rural surgeons could now participate in the expanded community-based journal clubs, promoting inclusivity and accessibility post-pandemic.
