A novel dry simulator model was developed to train gastroenterology trainees in endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography/endoscopic sphincterotomy procedures. The model, aligning with the components of a validated skill assessment tool, allowed for hands-on practice with real devices, resulting in improved learning expectations and increased satisfaction among participants. The simulator could provide a practical educational tool for novices to enhance procedural fluency and minimize bleeding complications during endoscopic procedures.
