Preservation of Caval Flow in Complex Hepatectomy Under Total Vascular Exclusion

Hypothermic liver perfusion during hepatectomy under total vascular exclusion preserving caval flow showed excellent hemodynamical tolerance, with no 90-day mortality and stable hemodynamics. The technique avoids splanchnic congestion and reduces ischemia time, making it a promising approach for patients requiring prolonged vascular control in hepatic surgery.
