Patterns of Lymph Node Metastases in Non-pancreatic Periampullary Cancers

Study identifies variations in lymph node metastases among different non-pancreatic periampullary cancer subtypes. Pancreatobiliary-type ampullary adenocarcinoma had higher lymph node metastasis rates. Distinct patterns of metastases were observed, with certain lymph node stations more frequently affected in different cancer types.
