Long-Term Effects of Physical Activity Following Bariatric Surgery

Regular physical activity post-bariatric surgery led to reduced blood pressure and lower type-2 diabetes recurrence in individuals with diabetes. Normoglycemic individuals experienced sustained BMI reduction and improved blood pressure control with physical activity throughout a 5-year follow-up. Integrating physical activity into post-bariatric care can enhance long-term outcomes.
