Laparoscopic Total Extraperitoneal Hernia Repair in Patients with Previous Abdominopelvic Surgery

Retrospective cohort study on laparoscopic inguinal hernia repair comparing short- and long-term outcomes in patients with and without previous abdominopelvic surgery history showed no significant difference in perioperative outcomes. Laparoscopic totally extraperitoneal (TEP) repair was deemed feasible and associated with low rates of complications, making it a standard option for all patients, regardless of abdominopelvic surgical history.
