Effectiveness of Paragastric Neural Blockade for Pain, Nausea, and Vomiting Control Post-Sleeve Gastrectomy

Paragastric neural blockade (PGNB) significantly reduces postoperative pain and nausea/vomiting after sleeve gastrectomy, as evidenced by lower visual analog scale (VAS) and postoperative nausea and vomiting (PONV) scores. Additionally, PGNB facilitates earlier mobilization and higher patient satisfaction compared to the control group, indicating its efficacy and safety in managing early postoperative symptoms in patients undergoing laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy.
