Favorable short-term and long-term outcomes were observed in patients undergoing robotic radical surgery for rectal gastrointestinal stromal tumor (GIST), with 100% 5-year overall survival and recurrence-free survival rates. The majority of patients had negative surgical margins, underwent sphincter-preserving surgery, and experienced low postoperative complication rates, highlighting the potential utility of robotic surgery for this condition.
