Long-term Outcomes of Primary Closure in Pilonidal Sinus Disease

Comparing two surgical techniques for pilonidal sinus disease, midline closure without skin sutures showed significant advantages over excision and primary closure. Additionally, they had lower complication rates and no recurrence during a five-year follow-up period. This technique may be ideal for patients with midline sinus orifices.
