High county-level provider density is linked to lower colorectal cancer-related mortality rates, independent of social vulnerability index. Efforts to increase access to health care providers could enhance health care equity and long-term cancer outcomes. Low provider density areas exhibited higher crude mortality rates compared to moderate or high provider density areas. This study underscores the crucial role of health care providers in reducing colorectal cancer mortality on a population level.
