Clinical Impact of Combined Tumour-Infiltrating Lymphocytes and Microsatellite Instability Status in Colorectal Cancer

Tumour-infiltrating lymphocytes (TIL) and microsatellite instability (MSI) status are key prognostic factors in colorectal cancer. A meta-analysis of 14,028 patients revealed that TIL-high (TIL-H) subtype correlated with improved overall survival. The integrated MSI-TIL classification shows promise as a predictive tool for clinical decisions in early-stage colorectal cancer. Further exploration is warranted for its potential clinical utility.
