Neoadjuvant chemoradiotherapy for rectal cancer can alter collagen structure, increasing the risk of postoperative anastomotic stenosis. A predictive nomogram based on CS accurately identified individuals at risk for postoperative anastomotic stenosis, with good discrimination and validation results.
