Temporal Disparities in Curative-Intent HCC Treatment Utilization

Racial and socioeconomic disparities impact access to curative treatments for hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). African-American and Hispanic patients had lower odds of receiving ablative therapy and surgical resection compared to whites, while disparities in liver transplantation varied. While trends improved for white and API/other patients, African-American and Hispanic patients showed non-significant changes over time, indicating widening disparities in curative-intent HCC treatment utilization.
