Colorectal signet-ring cell carcinoma (CSRCC) is a rare entity with poor prognosis, often diagnosed at advanced stages. Studies show an incidence of 0.1%-2.4%, associated with lower survival rates than other adenocarcinomas. Surgical intervention is challenging, and exploratory laparoscopy is advised to assess peritoneal metastases. Tailored treatment approaches are necessary due to the unique characteristics of CSRCC, emphasizing the need for updated insights on risk factors, prognosis, and management.
