Laser Hemorrhoidoplasty Outperforms Rubber Band Ligation

Laser hemorrhoidoplasty demonstrated superior clinical efficacy over rubber band ligation in treating grade II hemorrhoids, with significantly improved postoperative pain, bleeding, and anal distension within 2 weeks. Both methods effectively relieved symptoms, with no difference in recurrence rates at 1 year post-surgery. Patients undergoing laser hemorrhoidoplasty also had faster recovery times, making it an ideal minimally invasive treatment option.
