Adjuvant Chemotherapy Benefits Post-Pancreaticoduodenectomy

Adjuvant therapy following pancreaticoduodenectomy for pancreatic adenocarcinoma shows improved overall survival. Patients who responded favorably to neoadjuvant therapy may not benefit from additional adjuvant treatment. Downstaging after neoadjuvant therapy is a key factor in determining the efficacy of adjuvant therapy post-surgery. The study highlights the importance of personalized treatment strategies based on individual patient responses to neoadjuvant therapy.
