Acute traumatic coagulopathy is prevalent in patients with battlefield injuries, with one-third exhibiting coagulopathy upon arrival at medical facilities. Laboratory evidence showed low platelet counts, elevated INR levels, or both in 36% of patients. Early diagnosis and intervention are essential for improved outcomes, highlighting the need for advanced diagnostic tools and timely administration of blood products with extended shelf life.
